Chiropractor
Brett Thackery D.C.
Dr. Thackery is a native of Tyler, TX, and graduated high school in Armstrong, IA. During his high school years, he played sports year-round. During a football game, he suffered a back injury which lead him to his local chiropractor's office. It was at that moment he discovered his love for Chiropractic when it helped with more than just his back.
After graduating high school Dr. Brett attended Riverland Community College in Austin, MN where he received his Associate degree in Associated of Science, he also played baseball for the Riverland Blue Devils. He then attended Parker University in Dallas, TX where he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic and his B.S. in Human Biology. His purpose is to provide his patients with not only a resource for their symptoms but ultimately to identify the root cause of what’s creating dysfunction in their health. His goal is to make New Braunfels, TX a healthier place by changing one life at a time.
Dr. Brett is married to his beautiful wife Brooke, they have two children LaiLee and Jaxon. In his free time he enjoys spending it with family and friends, hunting, fishing, playing sports, and floating the Guadalupe river any chance he gets.

Brooke Thackery
Brooke Thackery is a native of El Dorado, AR. She graduated from Parkers Chapel Highschool in 2014 and then became a Dental Assistant for six years. In 2016, she met Dr. Thackery and began to learn about all the benefits of chiropractic care.
It was during that time their daughter LaiLee started suffering with back to back ear infections and within a matter of a time and consistent chiropractic adjustments by Dr. Thackery, their daughter no longer had ear infections, she began to speak more clearly, slept much better at night and much more. During Brooke’s free time she enjoys shopping, getting mani/pedis, hanging out her family/friends and traveling.
Chiropractic Assistant
Cynthia Esposito
Cynthia Esposito is a native of El Dorado, Arkansas. She has worked in general dentistry, periodontics, and orthodontics. In 2019 she decided to move to Texas to be with family. She accepted a job with Higher Living Chiropractic as a Chiropractic Assistant in 2021. She enjoys learning anything and everything new about chiropractic care, shopping, napping, going to the beach, fishing, and spending time with her family.
Chiropractic Assistant
Kelsey Marvin
Kelsey Marvin is a native of Austin, Texas. She graduated from Texas Lutheran University in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. She accepted a job with Higher Living Chiropractic as a Chiropractic Assistant in April of 2024.
She enjoys learning and helping patients feel better every day through chiropractic care. She spends her spare time playing volleyball, snowboarding, walking her dog, and spending time with friends and family.
